Airvet AT VVC

 
We are now using the new Airvet app to give clients more convenient access to our Dermatology & Allergy service. Connect with Dr. Schmeitzel using Airvet to request a consultation or re-check appointment.

 

Here are the steps to get started:

1.  Download Airvet available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

2. Create an account and when prompted, select your doctor

  • At VVC Fredericksburg and Midlothian, our Dermatology & Allergy service is available. Dr. Lynn Schmeitzel will be working with clients using Airvet.

3. Complete your profile by adding your information and your pet(s) to your account. Add your payment method and it will be stored for future use.

4. When you’re ready to request an appointment, please select the “My Vet” option. You may disregard the “Any Vet” option as this does not apply to our Dermatology service at VVC.

 

In-Call Screen

While you’re on a call you may turn off your video to make it audio only. You can also chat and send photos back and forth with your veterinarian while on a call.

Shortly after each call. you’ll receive a short summary of your call directly from your veterinarian, which you’ll be able to find on your case page.

 

Chat With Us

Each Airvet case remains open for 72 hours. During this window, if you have any additional questions or want to check in with your veterinarian after your call, you may chat with them by tapping on the blue “chat” icon – which you’ll see in the bottom right corner of your case screen.

Select the Menu (three horizontal lines) button in the top left of the app. Then, select the first button which should include your first and last name. Here, you can make edits to your name, phone number and profile photo.
